Galatians 3:6-13 “So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

The key in this Scripture is that it doesn’t say Christ WILL redeem us, or that  he is IS redeeming us, Christ HAS ALREADY redeemed us from ALL curse of the law. Christ has brought us brought us back from the curse of the law- we are no longer slaves to the law!

What is in the curse of the law that Christ has redeemed us from?
Sin, sickness, pain, suffering, and death- are all part of the curse of the law- and we have been redeemed from it all!

Deuteronomy 28 :15-25  “However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed. The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him. The Lord will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess.  The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish. The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed. The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.”

Sickness and disease is CLEARLY listed as a curse of the law in the Bible. But Christ HAS redeemed us from the curse of the law!! Christ bore the curse of the law on the cross. He has redeemed us NOT just for sin- but also from all sickness and disease!

You have dominion over ALL sickness and disease!!
